この”四季咲（しきざき）”シリーズは、厳寒期に丁寧に限定醸造したお酒を低温瓶貯蔵し、季節ごとに美しく花を咲かせるように、一年を通じて最良の状態でお届けするというコンセプトのお酒です。二十四節気七十二候（※）のうち九つの季節をイメージして造られるお酒の今シーズン第六弾。

※七十二候とは、二十四節気（春夏秋冬を6つに分割）の各一気(約15日)を約5日ごとに初候、二候、三候と3等分し、1年を七十二に分けたものをいいます。

二十四節気七十二候、「寒露」の次候「きくのはなひらく」をイメージした『聞花開（きくかかい）』。
香りは穏やか、軽やかな飲み口ながらジューシーな酸とコクの余韻をしっかりと感じられ、最後に優しい苦みで菊を連想させます。
秋の旬を使った和食はもちろん、洋食や中華料理とジャンルを選ばず楽しめそうです。

【Product Description】
The "Shikizaki" series is a seasonal sake concept that embodies the idea of delivering sake in its best condition throughout the year, as if it were blooming beautifully with each season. The sake is carefully brewed during the coldest part of the year, then stored in bottles at low temperatures, and released in the best possible state for each season. This is the sixth installment for the season, inspired by the nine seasonal periods in the traditional Japanese calendar of 24 solar terms and 72 micro-seasons (shichijunikou).

Note: The 72 micro-seasons divide the 24 solar terms (which represent the four seasons, each split into six parts) into three parts, each about five days long, creating a total of 72 distinct seasonal moments throughout the year.

This particular release, "Kikukakai," is inspired by the micro-season "Chrysanthemums Bloom" (kiku no hana hiraku), which follows the solar term "Cold Dew" (kanro). The aroma is gentle, with a light and smooth mouthfeel, yet it leaves a lasting impression of juicy acidity and rich depth. A soft bitterness at the end evokes the essence of chrysanthemums. It pairs beautifully with seasonal autumn dishes, as well as a variety of cuisines, including Western and Chinese food.
